ISIS has been a big one. The keep on executing inoccents and that makes it sick. The claim to be against the U.S and other countries yet they attack the reporters who have nothing to do with the world leaders but choose to hurt them still.
A huge issue that a lot of people don't realize is an issue yet is the rise of computerization and automation replacing US laborers. According to a 2013 study from Oxford University, roughly 47% of all US employment will be automated or be able to be automated within 20 years. This is a very, very big problem. It is possibly one of the biggest problems that our nation has faced in recent memory.
Capitalism hinges upon the basis that individuals should work and contribute to society, receive currency for their work, and then spend that currency and put it back into circulation in the economy. If over half of our population is out of a job, that is, if the most very basic functions that make capitalism work cannot be served by a majority of participants, then the whole system will begin to break down. Drastic preventive measures will need to be made in order to prevent economic collapse down the road.
One possible solution to remedy the immediate effects of rapidly increasing unemployment rates would be to introduce a basic income. This is a set amount of money that every adult citizen receives every month/two months/year/what have you. There are a number of ways to redistribute wealth to allow for a basic income, such as increasing taxes on those with the highest incomes, decreasing expenses in other areas, (cough cough military spending,) etc. The income would, at minimum, be enough to pay for basic needs such as food, water, shelter, heating, etc.
This could not only fix the unemployment problem in the short term, but it could essentially eliminate poverty and homelessness. After it's been established, efforts could be made to emphasize higher education for every citizen in order to introduce the unemployed population into jobs that (as of yet) cannot be automated, such as professions in science, engineering, any sort of design, and even artistic occupations such as writing, filmmaking, music, etc.
Obesity: causes health problems. It's a huge problem. Ways to fix obesity is things like having a scheduled work out plan, only eat healthy foods, etc.
ISIS has been a big isue as well as russia has been coming close to U.S. ero space. For example 6 russian military plains were intersepted by F-22 rapters and bugged out. The intersepted plains were two IL-78 feul tankers, Mig-31's and stratigic bombers. As you can see this is a issue.
I think ISIS has been a pretty big issue for the US. The executions, the constant threats, people trying to recruit others to join ISIS, etc. Also, the amount of debt our country is in right now is a pretty big deal. I mean, we're talking trillions of dollars. China has paid most of that loan. theoretically, sooner or later China could own the US. That's a pretty big deal.
ISIS there trying to take over by killing and threatening and more they are going to far asking us to pay or they will kill and us does not consult with terrorists so now people and are getting mad at us for not paying and letting someone die
ebola is a huge problem it is spreading fast more and more people die every day infact over 1,000 people have died it is devastating i am scared of it but i dont worry about it and i go on with my life but the people in the photos ive seen they look like they are going through a ton pain.
the sudium in processed food is the biggest intake of sudium in american deit. haveing sickle cells, age over 45 and high blood pressure are additional risk factors for heart attack or stroke
Hate crimes. Weather it is racial, sexist, or just plain bulling. It can't continue. People just need to learn how to deal with difference. I know too many people who have been told by, kids who were suppose to be their friends, telling them to kill themselves. And what is up with racial killing?! I mean come on I thought we were past the whole "white people are superior. It doesn't just affect kids there are hate crimes for adults too. And it worries more than just America!
Well in know that ISIS is a big problem right now. But the nation has other problems like crimes that are being commited and how the police are taking advantage of their power. Where they are being considered Criminals of permission ..(COP) and the more problems we face in america today.
china i believe is the biggest problem we face nationally. so ever since china jioned the free trade group they have ruined all the rules in the agreement which is using slave labour, child labour college labour and otheres so they pay there workers dirt cheap and the company gets all the profit which makes prices impossible to match for fair companys this lack of rules as drove the majority of buisness either out of country or into the ground which resulted in job loss more inports and less exports which was a major contributer to our national debt
Ebola is not only affecting people in Liberia but it's was spread to the U.S. One day later. Ebola isn't a "huge" problem compared to some other national events but still is a big problem and is potentially a huge problem. A way we could fix this is studying patients and disease patters to prevent it from further spreading. We can provide them with medical relief in small camps.
A major issue in our country is our security. This includes internal and external security. We must increase internal security measures such as Government offices, Schools, ext...We also need to strengthen our defensive security measures such as the border, our air spaces, and our seas. We must increase and strengthen school security measures. Too many people have died or have gotten severely injured because of a lack of security at schools; we have had multiple school shootings, office shootings. This could have been prevented easily with a responsible police officer on site to eliminate the threat before it takes any innocent lives, this could be a major advantage when it will take about 10-15 minutes for conventional police teams to show up. We can increase the amount of cameras in and outside of schools. Have all doors locked from the inside. Have a buzzer system at the front doors of schools. Design schools offices to have a clear view of the front doors. Move classroom door windows from the doorknobs and decrees the size of school door Windows. Have window covers. Have a blind spot where someone at the door can’t see the occupants of the room. Run multiple lock down drills a year. Have a code so the staff knows if it’s really clear and they can safely leave there class rooms. Keep a class log so the teachers know if one of their students is out of the classroom. Most of these precautions have been taken in some schools. We must protect the next generation of students and all generations to fallow.
Abuse of power, and Ebola are the biggest problems i see right now. Police are abusing their power all over the country. It needs to stop. Ebola is another bad one. It started affecting people in Liberia and is now spreading. We need to study the patients here that have it and find ways to prevent if from spreading.
Processed food and the high sugar high fat diet that many americans have seems like a huge problem for me. It's a problem because With the obesity rates still high across the country and high sugar and high fat foods becoming increasingly cheaper, it seems to affect the entire country. A possible solution is to introduce a tax to fatty foods and to have government provide grants to farms and restaurants who sell healthier foods.
Well ISIS is a big problem right now. But the nation has other problems like crimes that are being commited and how the police are taking advantage of their power...
