Blog # 8: Who & What inspires you? Why?

  1. As far as "who" goes, and as I've touched on before, a big inspiration of mine are the great orators of history. But, in addition, I am inspired every day by the people that I meet and work with. Watching and speaking with others that tackle life head-on and learning of their ambitions really strengthen my own ambitions. I could be inspired by anyone: a friend, a coworker, a teacher, a lover... There's incredible people doing incredible things all around if you only take a look.

A huge "what" that I'm inspired by is my music. I listen to a lot of orchestral music from artists like E.S. Posthumus, Two Steps From Hell, Hans Zimmer, etc. Though few of the songs of these genres have lyrics, each song grows into a unique story in my head as I listen. One song might be about a band of explorers trekking across a harsh winter landscape. Another might be about the people of an oppressed society uniting to fight a battle for their freedom. It's through this vivid mental imagery that I conjure up my own things to be inspired by.

  2. Jon Lester inspires me. I see all of the work he puts into pitching and doing his job daily as a professional pitcher and it makes me want to be more like him and work harder. Anybody who fights for our country also inspires me and makes me realize how lucky i am to live in the United States.

  3. Lots of things inspire me to do all sorts of things. When I am feeling loved or I am "in love" I am the most productive. Also competition inspires me to do my best in whatever it is I am doing. My biggest inspiration is Gandhi. His quotes are true to the point of amazement in my eyes.

  4. dr.suess inspires me because he is always taking my imagination to levels that are unbeliveable i know it sounds kind of kiddish like im a little kid but it is true i love reading his books and i love one of the quotes he had it went something like this "go to great places your mountain is waiting so get on your way " i think i left something out but it went something like that and that quote has really stuck out to me and i love it.

  5. As for "who", my Mom inspires me. She is in charge of a day camp district of 900 scouts, school events at my sibling's school, her own preschool, a cub master, a choir director, and a mother of 5 kids (with a husband who is gone most of the time). I think that is amazing. I hope that when I grow older, I will be able to do great things like that.
The "what" that I'm inspired by is music and dance. As a dancer, I don't just hear a song. I hear the story behind it and then put the lyrics to movement. I am able to pick out the music and beats underneath the melody. These songs/ dances inspire me to dig deeper into things and it really let's my creative side come out.

  7. Lots of things inspire me such as Parents, Authors, Boy Scout Leaders, Presidents, strategist’s ext... They inspire me by the choices they make, their actions, decisions, how they go about doing things, and how they solve problems by coming up with brilliant solutions. The reason their choices inspire me is because they represent a roll mottle for me and they show the curtain attributes that I want to have now and when I grow up.

  8. As far as who goes i have a few like Dwight D. Eisenhower, general Patton, Churchill, Aberham Lincoln, and Gorge Washington. As for my reasoning they didn't forsake they're country/world in it's time of need so that is why.

  9. The people that inspire me are the ones that inspire others. My grandpa was one of those people. He taught me alot of the things i know today. He was like a father to me and he talked to me about being successful and how he sees a bright future in me. Until he was assaulted and killed December 10th 2010. I know that heaven gained an angel. He was very supported and was a great listener ... so i tend to do the same. He is the one that inspires me.

  10. Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. His music is an inspiration to the world, whether you like him or not. His music album carter 3 was top selling album in the united states in 2008. he's made billions in profits and has brought many people that you might like (such as Drake) into the music industry. Almost every song rap/hip-hop song he has a part in making. They call him the "feature king" because he's been in so many songs.

  11. I find inspiration through people all throughout the day. Sometimes people have a perspective that I haven't considered, or maybe a piece of insight I haven't realized. I can find inspiration through many people, I just gotta take the time to get to know them.

Music is a big one that inspires me because of just how beautifully complex the pieces are. I consider it to be art, and each songs inspires some emotion or feeling inside me. Some motivate me to lift while some simply move me to just get through my day. Music will always be my muse for creating and living.

one of the things that inspires me is stories. From video games to poems I get a lot of inspiration from a story. There is always a good morale or idea for anyone.

  14. My brother most inspires me. He has been through hell and back but he is still able to make a bad situation into something positive! He is loyal and strong. He is the only family member I have left besides my mother (who I dislike very much) I couldn't imagine my life without him. He has changed my life in so many different ways.
